1Introduction

AI Long-form Summarizer: A summarization tool for reading and information organization. Paste papers, news, industry reports, or long WeChat articles; AI generates structured summaries with your selected granularity (one sentence / 100 words / 3-paragraph / detailed outline), perspective (neutral / investor / student exam prep / briefing), and source type, including key points, outline, and original quotes. PRO members can paste an article link to automatically fetch and summarize the full text, with mind map node tree display, multi-perspective switching, and Markdown export – helping you quickly digest long content and build reusable knowledge.

2How to Use

1

Input Article

Paste the full text of the article (up to 8,000 characters). PRO members can paste an article link to auto-fetch the content.

2

Select Parameters

Choose the summarization granularity, output format (plain text / bullet list / mind map / Markdown), summary perspective, and source type.

3

Generate Summary

Click 'Generate Summary' and the AI returns a summary, key points, an outline, and original quotes.

4

Export & Use

PRO members can switch views as needed (mind map / Markdown) and download the Markdown file for note-taking and sharing.

3FAQ

Can I paste a link for direct summarization?

Yes, this is a PRO-only feature: after pasting an article URL, the tool automatically fetches the web page content and summarizes it, so you don't need to copy-paste the full text manually.

What's the difference between the four summarization granularities?

One-sentence summary is for quick understanding; 100-word summary is for sharing; 3-paragraph summary follows background–key points–conclusion, suitable for presentations; detailed outline expands the full structure by section, suitable for study and research.

How do I choose the output format?

Plain text is the most versatile; bullet list is good for direct citation; mind map displays the article structure as a collapsible node tree (PRO); Markdown is easy to import into note-taking apps (PRO).

What's the difference between the free and PRO versions?

The free version allows one plain-text summary per day after login; PRO members unlock link summarization, mind maps, quote extraction, multi-perspective switching, and Markdown export, with unlimited usage.

Is summarization accuracy guaranteed?

The AI reads the full text first before extracting, preserving original facts and figures as much as possible. For very long articles, we recommend pasting in sections or using the PRO version to fetch the original text directly to avoid truncation affecting completeness.
